Forest Oaks Swim Team (FOST) Barracudas

Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club has been the home of the Forest Oaks Swim Team (FOST) Barracudas since its inception for almost 50 years ago. Forest Oaks Swim Team is a separate organization from Harris County WCID110/Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club with its own Board of Directors, but is considered to be a permanent fixture at the Forest Oaks Swim & Racquet Club which is owned and operated by Harris County WCID110.

Family Sponsorship Opportunity - Kids can Swim Free!!

FOST Barracudas is a non-profit team and is always looking to partner with great business sponsors!!! Any family that secures a sponsor for the amounts specified below will benefit! All sponsorship forms are available on the team's website.

• Contribution level: Donations or services up to $299

• Copper Level: $300 donation = free registration for 1 swimmer

• Bronze Level: $500 donation = free registration for 2 swimmers

• Silver Level: $750 donation = free registration for 3 swimmers

• Gold Level:  $1,000 donation = free registration for 4 swimmers

• Platinum Level: $1,250 donation = free registration for 5 swimmers

    • "Early bird" Fee dates TBA: $150/swimmer​

    • Late registration fee after date TBA: $175/swimmer

    • Non-members of Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club pay an additional fee of $10.

• In-Person Registration​​

  • When: Sunday, March 8 from 2 - 5 p.m.​

Barracuda Swim Team Practices

• After school practices begin TBA.

• Morning practices begin on June 2 after Klein ISD ends. Check Barracuda website for specifics. 

• Group practice times are available on the team's website.

Splash Learn to Swim Program

​The Splash Learn to Swim Program is run by FOST Barracudas. The program is designed to develop young swimmers so they can join the FOST Barracudas. All questions and registration for the Splash Program are managed by the FOST Barracuda board.

Onsite Registration

Registration Fee

• $150 per swimmer or swim free by bringing in a sponsor.

• Non-members of Forest Oaks Swim and Racquet Club pay an additional fee of $10.

Learn to Swim Practices

• Starts TBA

• Learn to Swim classes are held Monday through Wednesday from 4:30 - 5 p.m. with Thursday and Friday as make-up days as needed. There will be 15 total lessons.

• If your child shows progress, they may be invited to participate in the swim team's Black and Green Time Trial meet. This meet establishes times for swim strokes that allow them to participate in future swim team meets.

• If your child moves to Swim Team after Splash program, a volunteer deposit and volunteer hours will be required.
