National Night Out 2026

Date: Tuesday, October 6

Time: 5:30 - 8 p.m.

Location: Forest Oaks Park

Who is Invited: WCID110 Residents

Cost: Free for WCID110 Residents and guests

Join WCID110 AT FOREST OAKS PARK and celebrate our local community and law enforcement officers as well as other emergency response personnel at our 45th annual National Night Out. This annual event allowed our community an opportunity to engage with each other and spend time meeting and greeting our local officers and other emergency response professionals.

What is National Night Out?

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods a safer, better place to live. National Night Out is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.

  • Generate support for local anti-crime efforts.

  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

  • Send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Visit the National Association of Town Watch website to learn more about the National Night Out campaign and how it is celebrated across the nation.

Check-In At Event is required for all participants

This event is intended and hosted for the benefit of residents within Harris County WCID110. Check-in for events will be required when arriving and wrist bands will be provided at check-in for all participants. Check in will take place at the front of the park and we hope it will move quickly and not cause a delay in your entrance to the event.

Wristbands will be colored and each color determines what time you can get in line for food. You can choose to get  BBQ or Brothers Pizza and one serving of Brusters Ice Cream. Each wristband is good for one plate of food from either Brothers Pizza or BBQ and one serving of Bruster's Ice Cream, so one person cannot pick-up multiple plates. Once you have received food, your wristband will be marked by event staff signifying you have received food.

If you need to assist someone by getting their plate for them, please let the staff at event check in know so they can make note on your wristbands. We want to ensure that all participants get food and ice cream.

What will be happening at WCID110 National Night Out 2026?

WCID110 has hosted this annual event for many years and each year we plan to make it more enjoyable, more engaging, and something that our community can look forward to as a family.

What about food and drinks?

Wristbands: When you arrive and check in at the main park entrance, you and your guests will receive wristbands that must be worn to get in line for food. Color wristbands will determine the 10-15 minute window for you to get food. The time frames are done so people do not have to stand in line for too long to get food. Your wristband allows you to get EITHER 1 plate of pizza OR 1 BBQ sandwich bag AND one serving of Bruster's Ice Cream. If you are going to assist someone by getting their food, please let staff know at check in so they can make note on your wristbands. If you need assistance getting food or carrying it to a seat, please ask any of our staff members for assistance and we are happy to help.

Drinks: WCID110 will provide more than enough water and soda for the event.

Brothers Pizza is located in Spring, TX and has been a generous supporter of many events within WCID110. They will have a food truck at this year's event and provide another option for food, mainly for our younger participants!

BBQ Sandwich bags will be available for the event.

Brusters Ice Cream: Enchanted Oaks HOA will be providing Brusters Ice Cream for up to 200 participants who.

Community Potluck: We encourage District residents to showcase their cooking or baking skills and bring something to the community potluck. Tables will be provided and we encourage all potluck participants to bring dishes on disposable plates/dishes so you don't have to wait to get your items back. You are not required to submit what you are bringing prior to the event, but we do encourage you to. To submit your potluck contribution, please use the button.
