Forest Oaks is excited to announce that Tennis Courts 5 - 8 are about to undergo a significant and much needed upgrade. We will be renovating the courts from the afternoon of August 8 through Friday, September 12 (weather permitting) so they will be offline for the month while this work is being done.

Improvements:

  1. Replacement of current flood lights with MUSCO lighting system (similar to the lights on courts 1-4)

  2. Replacement of all court net posts

  3. Resurfacing of all four tennis and pickleball courts

  4. Repairs to exterior chain link fencing

  5. New windscreen (same as the windscreen on courts 1-4)

  6. Addition of 2nd practice backboard on the side of court 6

We will begin removing the current light poles the afternoon of August 8 so the courts will remain available during daylight hours through the weekend of August 8/9/10. MUSCO will be onsite to start light pole installation on Monday, August 11.

The lower tennis walk-in gate will remain available throughout the project except when they are raising the new light poles. We will have temporary security fencing up to keep everyone away from courts 5 - 8, so if you come up with children, please make sure you keep a close eye on them.

We understand this will limit court access for our members and Rivera Tennis Academy, but we have been discussing with Rivera and they will be moving some of their lessons and groups to alternate courts during this time frame.
