National Night Out - Tuesday, October 7 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Forest Oaks Park

It is almost time for our annual National Night Out event. This year's event is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at Forest Oaks Park (not at the main pavilion next to the clubhouse like previous years).

We are moving the event to the park so we can take advantage of our amazing park amenities, have more space for folks, and make the event less congested! We hope that everyone who has attended previous events will enjoy not being packed under the main pavilion.

This year's event will also offer BBQ from Woodall's BBQ and pizza from Brothers Pizza. We will require all event participants to check in at the main park entrance when arriving and you will receive a wristband which has to be worn to receive food. The wristbands will be different colors and each color will be for a 15 minute window to get food. We are doing this in an effort to keep folks from having to stand in line for extended periods of time.

When we initially promoted this year's event, we had intended to require pre-event registration and a fee for non-WCID110 residents. In the WCID110 Board Meeting from 8/21, the board voted to no longer require pre-event registration or fees for our major special events. New promotional material has been updated and posted, so no pre-event registration or fees are required for the event. Check-in at the park entrance will still be required, so look for signs and we will do everything we can to make it as quick and painless as possible.
