Park Road Sinkhole Repair - Scheduled for June 23 - July 25 - Minimal Impact to park usage

Harris County Flood Control (HCFC) will repair the sinkhole along the park road from June 23 through July 25 (weather permitting. Due to the depth and length storm water drain being replaced, part of the park road will be closed for use during this time. 

Impacted areas during construction/repair:

• Construction vehicles will be using the back park gate to enter and exit the park. All park users should yield the right of way to vehicles and give them plenty of room. You need to stay aware of your surroundings watch out for vehicles.

• The park road will be fenced off near the curve near the big bridge all the way towards Cypress Creek (see map).

• The nature trail that connects to the park road near Cypress Creek will be blocked off. Nature trails are available for use, but you can only enter and exit the trails near the back gate of the park.
