The WCID110 Board of Directors unanimously voted to improve accessibility throughout Forest Oaks Park by paving all current crushed granite walking paths with new asphalt. Effective Friday, May 15, 2026, the use of electronic bikes (e-bikes), electronic scooters (e-scooters), or any other non-authorized motorized vehicle is prohibited from use inside of Forest Oaks Park. We have always prohibited use of motorized vehicles, but with the increased presence of e-bikes and e-scooters in our area, we are no longer allowing their use inside the park. New signage will be going up in coming days at all park entrances and throughout the park.

We are hosting our annual E-waste and Paper Shredding Event on Saturday, May 23 from 10 a.m. - noon in the back parking lot of Lemm Elementary. You will use the bus lane to go to the back of the school and you will see our staff and trucks. Sorry for VERY short notice, but we have blocked off the main park walk-in entrance as we are going to asphalt about 100' of the granite walking path from the parking lot through the main walk-in gate to the water fountain pad. Wasn't expecting them to get out here so quick, but it is happening today. The drive-in gate is open for park access (NO VEHICLES).
